blahblah
I was looking for a simple program to store my contact information for people. I've been trying to deal with MS Outlook for years, and it is so hard and unpredictable to deal with, I just did away with it. I downloaded several free programs, and the main problem was that they didn't have a place for general notes. I need that section to note miscellaneous things about a person. AddressBook has everything--Name, Address, all phone numbers, email, web address, even a picture or image. The search feature is very easy and effective to use. I especially need this when I am trying to find a person that did so-and-so, but I can't remember their name. I would have liked a feature to categorize contacts (like Personal, Business, Kids' Friends, etc.), but I found a way to do it myself. You can arrange the names in any way (first, last name; last, first name; etc.). So let's say I use first name, last name. I just type in the category in the first name box like this Sara. Then I just type the last name in the Last Name box and in the list of names it appears as Sara, Smith. So I love this program for its necessary features, simplicity of use, and cost (FREE)! It was also easy to download and install.
