Have you ever thought how many events can occur within one second? "What's the strange idea,"- you may answer. But in our active and dynamic time one little moment can play a vital role. All we have the second hand and stopwatch in our watches or cellular phones. In this way, we have the possibility to see visually how these little moments, changing, influence our life. Spending your time in front of the computer, you also may be needed in the special tool of measuring time intervals in decimal seconds, seconds, minutes and hours. The program XNote Stopwatch gives you this opportunity, presenting a versatile and flexible multifunctional digital stopwatch and countdown timer software.XNote Stopwatch has a digital display like real stopwatches and clocks. Moreover, it can be resized to achieve your preferable size of digits and even be switched to a compact state, in which stopwatch and timer don't show controls and stay on top of your desktop.
What personally I appreciated in this program is that despite the variety of features, XNote Stopwatch has small size, low system resource requirements, and fast execution speed. Now let's regard what we can do with the help of this program. There are stopwatch mode and countdown timer mode. When the time expires (in the countdown timer mode) it can sound a warning signal or run an external application. Also, there are such abilities as snapping the time at any moment, saving and load a time counting session including all recorded results, setting a custom time and so on. As for the main window of XNote Stopwatch, it looks very simple and may be resized. You can make it as small or as large as you wish, which may be convenient when you need to view the timer while staying far from your computer. In my opinion, it is very simple to deal with XNote Stopwatch , for example, when I'd like to start the count-up or the count-down I needed just to click the "Start" button, activating in such a way the buttons "Snap" and "Reset". In order to try other useful functions I moved on to The "More" menu containing all other XNote Stopwatch commands and settings. Here I was pleased by the fact that all results may be recorded and stored into the memory. To have the access to this storage we should address to the option "Show result window".
Also, we have the possibility to simplify the work of the program in the way you prefer, switching between the stopwatch and the countdown timer mode. Moreover, there is the possibility to specify custom hotkeys for the main XNote Stopwatch commands. It can be any buttons on the keyboard you want. For example, I have chosen "Alt+8" command to start and stop stopwatch, so, you have just to decide which hotkeys are the most appropriate for you.
One more proof of XNote Stopwatch high customization is that we can specify how many fractions the second may be split to. By default the second is split to 100 fractions, but you can set up any number of fractions from 2 to 100. This possibility may be useful for counting events that occur with certain periodicity several times within a second.
As you can see in case of XNote Stopwatch, the most part of installations is up to you. So, you can set up the time to start or to continue the count from; the required time in hours, minutes, seconds and decimals can be also specified.
I have already mentioned about high customization of XNote Stopwatch, to my mind, it is the most appealing thing in the process of dealing with this program. After all, if during the trial period you decide that XNote Stopwatch fits your needs, you will take the full control of your time to the point of decimal parts of a second by means of this versatile and highly customizable program.
