Tray Widget Pro lets you control your screen saver from a handy System Tray icon.

From a handy menu, you can run, disable, or adjust the settings for your screen saver. You can also prevent it from running for up to twelve hours. When disk maintenance programs such as ScanDisk are launched, Tray Widget detects them and automatically prevents your screen saver from running.

You can also customize the menu by adding custom shortcuts to it. The program also provides a folder browser for selecting a path to begin a DOS session within.
