Theme Installer automates the process of installing desktop themes.

There are hundreds of different themes available, and most need to be installed manually (you must copy some files to your Program FilesPlus!Themes directory, some to WindowsSystem directory, etc.). And they usually have to be uninstalled manually as well.

Theme Installer will automatically install your themes for you. Simply copy all the files to a temporary directory, right-click on the .theme file, and select 'Install Theme' from the menu. Theme Installer automatically determines the location of your Windows and Themes directories and copies the theme files to their correct locations.

It also adds an Uninstall entry to the Registry so you can easily uninstall the theme using the Add/Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel. The Theme Installer keeps a log of the files it copies and the directories it creates, so it knows exactly what to remove. This allows a theme to use components not supplied with it (for example, some themes use the standard Windows or Plus! cursors).
