I'm programming with Delphi 4. My applications need to capture an image generated by a digital camera connected to an optical instrument. It's not a movie, but a single image that should be captured and part of it, the most conspicuous image area, would be saved in a "G" database field to be part of the report and also retrieved in the future when needed. The size to be place in the report would be no greater then 3x3 inches or 7.5x7.5 cm or smaller. It would be nice to be able to rectangle the desired image area in order to store it appropriately. The format could be .jpg I would appreciate very much your help to find out which component would help me better on my projects. sincerely Einar
