DBFRead is Windows utility for viewing DBF files (versions from dBase up to Visual FoxPro are supported). It's possible to read with DBFRead both memo fields dBase and FoxPro formats. The program does not use neither external drivers for access to databases (for example ODBC, BDE, MS Jet) nor additional libraries (dll, ocx).

It may also use for viewing database Visual FoxPro as DBF tables.

By the main purpose of writing of the given program was to demonstrate capabilities of the library ALXGrid.
