W4T is a Java component library for the development of HTML-front-ends for Web applications. It drastically shortens development and testing cycles by transferring the concept of the object-oriented user interface development to the design of dynamic HTML front-ends.

W4T transposes familiar and well-proven concepts of user interface design, like widgets, object-orientation and event-driven user guidance, into the domain of Web development. Components (panels, buttons, text fields) and layout managers comparable to the ones in AWT/Swing are provided for the construction of complex and reliable graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for Web applications.
