Console Tools is a package of add-on functions specifically designed to enhance the PowerBASIC Console Compiler (PB/CC) and other compilers that can produce Win32 console applications.
Console Tools contains dozens of console-related functions. It requires you to add two simple lines of code to the head of your program, and then use the Console Tools functions as if they were part of the programming language.
Console Tools provides functions that can tell you about the run-time state of the console window and desktop. You can get the dimensions and screen locations of the console window, the desktop, and the usable area of the desktop. You can read the current state of the console window, the number of rows and columns, the size of the buffer, and the maximum width/height that the current screen configuration allows.
Features include: console message boxes; console input boxes; console progress boxes; console splash boxes; console pulldown menus; console window control; console list boxes; console popup menus; console information; low level control; very low level control; and utility programs.
