ReportX provides a generic interface for printing and managing Crystal Reports.

ReportX is bundled with the Crystal Reports print engine, so you do not need to install Crystal Reports on the user's machine. ReportX can be used as a stand-alone program with its own repository. It can also be used in a multi-user network environment with a copy of ReportX running on each user's PC and pointing to a central report repository. ReportX then manages this central repository.

ReportX provides a generic user interface for generating reports based on Crystal Reports templates. It also provides user authentication, so that only the authorized members of the organization have access to specified reports.

ReportX works best with report templates designed by using Crystal Reports version 5 or later.
