The reference, which you are given by 3D World Map, are various enough, so, you can get the information about the population of a settlement, a historical reference and so on. To get the information about some city, for example, you push the button “City” and in the appearing table chose a needed name. Right now the globe will turn, showing you a required place.

If you are going to visit other city, you can value the distance between this point and your own place, maybe it’s too far from you to get there by car and after this research you’ll prefer go there by plane. At any case you’ll get the exact figures, being of interests of you.

Also you can change the colour spectrum of the globe and the background, approaching and moving off the surface of the Earth.

Your children certainly will appreciate this program very much. Amusing themselves with changing colour and making the globe move, they have a splendid opportunity to pick up some useful knowledge form geography.

There are, however, some features, which I would modify and introduce.

First of all, it concerns the search system of a concrete settlement or country. In my opinion it would be more useful and quick if the user simply tapes the name of required place. Or this system would be used along with the original one.

As for my personal attempts of introducing some new functions, it would be very impressing if the user could approach the surface of the Earth to such an extend that it would be possible to see some the most big cities. But, of course, all these modifications would influence the price of this program, whereas it costs only $19.95.
