GearDesignPro is a new spur and helical gear design program incorporating basic and advanced analyses in an extremely easy to use Windows interface. Many man-years of both practical and academic experience have been combined to develop the program. Quick-start tutorials will enable the novice or expert to master the use of the software.

GearDesignPro has several modes of operation where a geometry manager automatically adjusts the gear design to the specified centre distance or calculates the centre distance for a given geometry. Constraints can be imposed on the gear design and warnings issued if these constraints are exceeded.

Additional functionality includes an option to minimize centre distance for given conditions(Standard and Advanced version only), or a complete design workspace search(Advanced version only), producing optimum results in minutes.
