The program can prevent you from being disconnected from all AOL versions, as well as numerous other ISPs.

Unlike common disconnection stoppers, FreeON+ for AOL lets you prevent disconnections when you combine ISPs. For example, when you connect to AOL through CompuServe.

In addition, it includes the 'No Thanks' function which enables you to filter most AOL startup advertisements, and the 'Instant Answer' answering machine for AOL's instant messages.
