ArGoSoft Mail Server is an SMTP, POP3, and Finger server which allows you to turn your computer into an e-mail system.

The program lets you support an unlimited number of users, enabling you to relay their e-mail messages to other computers on the Internet.

It can be used as a local e-mail system for your small office or home, and as a fully functional SMTP, POP3, and Finger server if you have a permanent connectiuon (cable or ADSL) and a static IP address.

In addition, you can log all events.

The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.

I have used Argo soft's e-mail server in the past. It was small, fast, and easy to use. I worked in a small startup company that was a subsidiar of a larger company. The larger company had troubles getting us fully functional on their exchange server, specifically for sending mail. 6 of us used argo soft on our laptops to send mail and it worked wonderfully.
