Publisher's Description
Arachnophilia awarded Softpile Most Popular

Arachnophilia is a well-designed, full-featured HTML editor.

You can preview HTML pages internally, or view them in up to six different Web browsers. The HTML previewer can reflect editing changes after each keystroke. Arachnophilia supports tags for inserting advanced HTML elements, including frames, forms, marquees, CGI, Perl, C++, Java and Javascript. A nice feature that helps you keep your links organized is called 'AutoCopy'. You can create links to images or files anywhere on your hard drive, and the program will copy them to your working directory and automatically change the link.

The program does a nice job of converting documents to HTML. You can prepare text, indented outlines, and tables in a word processor or other application and then drag and drop them onto Arachnophilia to convert them to HTML. Table structure, indentation, and font color, size and face are all preserved.

Arachnophilia comes with a built-in intelligent FTP client that uploads changed files. It has an HTML beautifier, macro support, and an error checker. It also includes tutorials on HTML, JavaScript and the Internet.

Very good indeed. The author got rich writing applewrite (?) and now, instead of trying to get richer, gives his software away in exchange for "not complaining about things." You are not even asked to be actively nice a la pay forward. It includes link checking and a load of features which on the own I am sure some people are charging for. Truly astounding. Try it.
