MapEdit is imagemap editing software. MapEdit is a graphical editor thatallows the user to make clickable imagemaps for the World Wide Web.
MapEdit allows you to load your image into a scrollable, resizable windowand then draw polygons, circles and rectangles on top of it, specifiying a
URL for each. It also allows you to go back and delete these hotspots,set a default URL for clicks outside the hot area and allows you toassociate comments or alternate text to be show to users of non-graphicalbrowsers. With Mapedit 2.63 and the latest web browsers, you can useclient-side imagemaps, which reside in your HTML page. Mapedit will alsocreate server-side maps for backwards compatibility with old browsers.
