VisualPulse is a server-based ping engine and reporting tool designed for those who need a fast, graphical way to see how their services are running and where problems occur in real-time.
The program lets network administrators, Web hosting businesses, ASPs, and ISPs generate historical reports on network latency and packet loss, which represent the basic data points for service level measurements.
It can be integrated with the VisualRoute Server application, instantly providing visual traceroute information to the servers or Web sites being monitored.
For the most part, VisualPulse's user interface is a Java-enabled Web browser, although a modest GUI component is included with the server itself.
In addition, once the application is installed and configured, multiple clients can connect to it and access the information it provides through their browsers.
