NewsDart allows you to personalize your news headlines and stories and display them as they occur.

You simply select your information sources, and identify the keywords that correspond to your favorite topics. NewsDart scans the Web for your selections at regular intervals to deliver stories as they occur, notifying you with audible alarms.

In addition, the program interacts with your default browser so you can go directly to the source of an event for additional information.

The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
