QuadSucker/News is a multithreaded Usenet news downloader optimized for downloading images.

The program includes built-in support for viewing GIF and JPG image files, and can download other types of files, such as audio, video, and text.

Multiple threads allow up to four news articles to be downloaded simultaneously, and the built-in black and white list options, facilitate content filtering.

QuadSucker/News' duplicate database function lets you reject files based on subject, file name, or content, while the header list function allows you to preview what is about to be downloaded.

In addition, the program automatically decodes both UUDECODE/UUENCODE and MIME messages.
