PeerChat is a chat application which works without a chat server, allowing you to chat privately, directly, and safely.

PeerChat's features include: an FTP client; a drawing pad utility; an e-mail notification function; support for dial-up networking; quick notes (instant messages) capability; resizable and customizable chat windows; and the ability to save chat session transcripts.

The program uses the 4812 through 4831 ports in a random-like direction, utilizing the TCP/IP network protocol.

In addition, you can associate sounds to various functions.
