LAN Chat is a real-time messaging intranet system which allows you to exchange text messages and transmit files.

Using a peer-to-peer architecture, LAN Chat can deliver text messages between workstations in real-time.

You can transmit files by simply dragging them onto the program's window. Moreover, when you transmit a sound file or a video one, it is automatically played on the remote computer.

You can also exchange messages with one user, or broadcast to a group of selected users or the entire network. All messages are encrypted with 128-bit keys.

LAN Chat includes an auto-answer feature, which can accept messages in your absence and automatically acknowledge them with a message of your choice, as well as the ability to filter your messages.
