AV Voice Changer Software (VCS) is developed to change a voice in real time mode. It means that it can be used for voice chat rooms, Voice over IP (VoIP) connections and other Internet applications. I like PingPong-Garage most of all, because it changes a voice to machine-sounding robot voice. Beside effects an Equalizer can be applied for fine adjustment.

There are a number of presets in VCS, that allows to change your voice to a voice of Pleasant Child, Schoolmistress, Strict Woman, Old Woman, Boy, Teenager, Old Man or somebody else. You also can create an unlimited number of new voices. Once you find a combination you like, give it a name and save it as a preset. Then just use that preset any time you want to become that character!

Besides, VCS has a special Comparator window that can be called by clicking Comparator button on the main window. The Comparator helps you to adjust the settings so that your voice sounds similar to a voice of any famous person (actor, actress, singer and the like). To do this you need to load to the Comparator a sample of speech of the person whose voice you want to imitate. Then you just need to adjust the settings to get equal parameters of your changed voice and of the sample. The program already has samples of voices of Jim Morrison, Andie MacDowell, Paul McCartney, John Travolta. Other voices may be downloaded from the Internet using a link in the program.

Also you can record a sound to audio files of different quality with Recorder.

It is worth mentioning that audio processing in real time mode requires certain hardware. Thus, to work with VCS a full duplex sound card and Pentium II or higher compatible processor are necessary.

On the whole, Voice Changer Software produces a rather pleasing impression owing to its simplicity in use and great abilities. Even if you do not use any voice-chats, you would have some fun experimenting with your voice.

As the negative side of the program I consider the limitations of demo version of the program, which neither allow to choose the presets (they are switched automatically every minute), nor to save your own presets. And only one effect can be applied at a time. Moreover, demo version has a time limitation (14 days) that can be removed by registering the program free of charge and getting free key.
