Oil Painting Assistant allows you to turn your BMP images into oil paintings.

With Oil Painting Assistant, you simply load a BMP image, crop it to fit your canvas, and adjust the coloration to suit your taste. The program also applies a grid to the image so you can sketch on the screen more accurately.

It displays an analysis of the image, pointing out what paints would be useful for the painting’s base coat. The analysis and grid-overlaid image can be displayed on your monitor while you paint, or printed on a color printer.

In addition, you can zoom in and out, and adjust the contrast and the brightness.
