Andantico





Andantico is a mp3-toolpackage that sets up on an access-database (i.e. a real relational database, not a mere list-management). Many new features:




Database functions:


finds automatically all mp3-files on all media
mp3-management on all media
unlimited data (1,3 mio testet, 2 billions possible)
fast and extensive functions for searching, sorting and editing
automatically takes over ID3-Tag-genres as categories, unlimited further categories possible
claer identification of mp3-files via checksums
correction of artist names are taken over to every existing and further tracks of the artists
differentiates sortname, ID3-tag-name and real name: 'Bob Dylan' is sorted as 'Dylan, Bob' and shown as 'Bob Dylan'
tie up of external programmes (Winamp, Cool Edit, editors etc.)
individual rating of any title (1-6)
tie up any title with individual skinsets and covers (images)
multiple users on one PC (or on several PCs als client-server), each user with individual setups
extensive export functions: export-preparation fon any harware-player, series of definited size of directories (for example: export all your 250 hits to parts of 64 mb for your hardwareplayer)







Further Modules:

Taskbar-player: always on top, never obstructs
Desktop-player: positioning via waveform (one sees, on which part of the title the cursor currently is and where to put it for a new position)
two playlists: 1) Desktop-Layout with Skins, 2) Windows-Layout
Equalizer
Timer for analog recording (cassettes): setup tapelenght and fadeout/in - the timer fades out at the tape-end and fades in after restart of the tape
Sound-Display: eight different analyzers
Text-Display: whatever size of artist, title and album you choose
Cover-Display: whatever size of cover (to tie up with tracks) you choose
Categories on the desktop





Further new functions:

Dynamic volume matching: too faint/too loud tracks to be adjusted on a standard level, the dynamik to be kept preserved
