MPEG-SoftEngine allows you to encode several file formats as MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video and audio.

MPEG-SoftEngine gives you the ability to encode digital audio and video sequences according to the ISO MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 standards.

It features an MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 encoder, decoder, and player, and supports the AVI, MJPG, RAW, TIFF, and WAV file formats, as well as TV/HDTV for interlaced sequences (NTSC and PAL).

You can also create MPEG system streams with multiplexed video and audio, which can be used in Video CD, DVD, or Digital TV productions.
