The main program window is divided to the following fields according to tasks they perform:

Now let's discuss every task.

The first item of the Convert Audio menu is CD track(s). By clicking on this item a convenient tool to grab CD tracks to MP3/WMA/OGG/WAV files is called:

Beside its main function this tool can search for CD information (names of tracks and the like) in Internet databases CDDB2 and FreeDB, thus this tool has all the necessary features to be called full CD grabber.

Other items of the Convert Audio menu are dedicated to convert audio files to MP3/WMA/OGG/WAV files. For every type of conversion a separate window appears where one may specify all parameters for output files. For example, a window for converting to WMA looks this way:

By clicking Edit Audio button on the main window powerful Audio Editor is called:

Unlike most of other audio editors, Blaze Media Pro Audio Editor supports MP3 files, thus one may directly edit MP3 files without prior conversion to uncompressed WAV format. Files may be viewed and edited in Waveform or Spectral Modes. The editor provides all the required tools for editing audio, including Cut/Paste/Mix, Fade In/Out, Delay, Equalize, Flanger, Normalize, Invert, Reverb, Silence and many others. It also can record audio streams from any Recording devices of a PC.

Edit Audio Tags button calls Audio Tag Editor that supports an easy way for editing ID3 Tags. Additionally, using items from More Audio Options menu on the main window one can search lyrics in Internet, merge several audio files to one and find CD info in Internet CDDB. Using the same menu Media Manger can be called. This manager helps to browse computer for media files (audio and video), preview, rename or delete them in one convenient window.

Now a few words about tasks for video files which are also great. Video Converter converts AVI, MPEG, WMV or Quick Time Movie files to AVI, MPEG or WMV files. For each format specific parameters can be set.

By clicking Edit Video button Video Editor is called. This editor as well as Audio Editor supports compressed files like MPEG. Video can be resized, flipped, rotated and mirrored using the editor. Also various effects including Dizzy, Fire, Ghost, Glass, Lens, Mosaic, Rain, Night Vision and many more may be applied in real time mode. Of course, it can do also simple operations like copy/cut/paste of the selected parts of video files:

Construct Video button calls Video Constructor that provides convenient means to build your own movie from a set of pictures and audio files. Video Decompiler performs reverse task: it saves frames of a movie with the specified frame rate to sequence of JPEG files.

Additional tools for video are Video Processor (to apply Resize, Rotate, Rain and many more effects without using Video Editor to whole video files), Video Capture (to record video from any video capture device like web cameras) and Audio Extractor (to extract audio from video files to MP3/OGG/WAV/WMA files).

It is worth noticing that I only briefly mentioned what Blaze Media Pro can do with audio and video files. As a matter of fact, every tool of this application is a full complex program with great capabilities that can successfully compete with single products of other developers.
