With support of Microsoft® DirectShow® architecture SkyDVB uses Video Mixing Renderer(VMR) to display video picture on screen and Microsoft® DirectSound® to reproduce sound.

Perfect quality of video and audio achieved using DVB standard with MPEG-2 stream. SkyDVB also allows recording MPEG-2 stream on disk for future use. In addition, SkyDVB provides such advanced features as Electronic Program Guide(EPG), Teletext, Picture-in-Picture(PIP) and video adjustments.
