The comments I made currently attributable to the PDG3 version was actually made about the PDG2
Actually I have upgraded to the PDG3 and it is a real problem .Infact I have un-installed it until the issues can be resolved.
ie the system completely freezes after I have carried out a scan. It will not even un jam with the Ctrl+Alt+Del routine. It runs substantially slower in my opinion than the PDG2 version and the lower scan progress bar does not seem to work at all.Frusratingly The system constantly throws up an infection referred to as an un identified "so called" trojan clone.I just cannot get it out of the system . PDG3 seems to delete it then up it comes again. It also seems stuck in Restore. Even though I have un-installed restore it still shows the presence of this myserious Trojan Clone in restore that is not operating ?? . I notice from the Astonsoft Website that some one else is having the same problem with our Trojan Clone. I have mailed Maxim at Astonsoftt but no reply as yet received. I think the anti Virus is potentially good but the would seem to need to iron out some gremlins in this addition

On the face of it the system seems extremely efficient and user friendly.[and needs to be for me I,m no PC geek] Installed for about four months,it has already flushed out three infections. As claimed, it identifies the infected file [or files] on one occasion and names the infection via a log.It appears then to eliminate the infection with just one click.Fast and perfect on the face of it.I have no idea if the system is totally reliable at identifying all on going infections.Or how it compares with say: Norton. It updates however, at least once a week.
The tech support team are quick to respond . Occasionally they have server problems but usually quickly put right. I would be very interested to have access to an independent technical analysis to see if this software is as good as it appears to be
