Publisher's Description

What is This? is a handy file management tool that lets you attach descriptions to files which can then be viewed with a simple right mouse click.

'What is This?' helps you to manage your files and remember their description, in an easy and unobtrusive way. After installing the program, a new menu item is added to your shell context menu. Right-clicking on any file brings a menu which includes a 'What is This?' option which displays any comments you've attached to the file, as well as the file size, attributes, and access, creation and update dates. For many file types, 'What Is This?' will create a default description. For example, JPG file descriptions include a thumbnail view of the image along with the width, height and color depth. ZIP file descriptions include a directory listing of the contents of the ZIP. You can also perform searches through your file descriptions.
