The best disc and file management software I've ever used. Probably the best I'll ever use. Well worth the registration fee. You want to manage files regulary? - ZTree does it - exactly what you want. This is more than a clone of XTree - many new features have been added. It takes a little time to get to know what it can really do for you, but you'll never look back - well worth the effort. I've been usung this program for quite along time now. I find it irreplacable. There are many file activities I can perform with this utility that either I can't with others or not as easily. An outstanding app. So good you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. I even sent the author an extra $40 cash as a special thank you. It is much better than Symantec's XTree Gold! I can't imagine owning a computer that did not have Z-Tree. Kim Henkel filled the void left by the departure of X-Tree and produced, not a clone, but an improved simulacrum. For the record, I am not a fan of WinExplorer and I use Z-Tree to manage my drives and files, to launch programs, to create paths and folders, to move them or graft them, and to compare branches for newer or unique files. Early on, when I had a speed problem, Kim got me a patch in an hour or less. This is a wonderful program. Anybody who remembers DOS needs this. Windows babies could look and learn what user-friendly really means.
