The information retrieval is a process demanding much time and concentration. That's why it is always desirable to have some special tool on hand for this purpose. Archivarius 3000 is a program of documents momentary search on your PC, in the local Internet and removable drives (CD, DVD and others).

The program makes a search by clue words or with the help of a formal inquiry the same like with Internet search engines. While searching the program automatically calculating all forms of words, which provide full-text documents search in 18 languages. Archivarius 3000 extracts and saves information about documents. Even if some document is not available, this program will find it by clue words during several seconds and will show you what kind of disk contains the demanded file.

After my personal experience of dealing with Archivarius 3000 I came to the conclusion that this program is much better than other software of this kind. So many useful functions are realized here that other soft seem to be poor on its background. For example, you don't need any special knowledge to make a complicated research. The Search Wizard will help you to find documents by size, date and type in just a few steps. The Quick View function gives the opportunity to look through the text of a document with the highlighting query words, finding and printing the needed fragment, even if the documents are not physically accessible. The found documents can be also exported to a text file or sent via e-mail.

What I liked most of all about Archivarius 3000 is its ability to make a search in the mail archives of "The Bat", whereas other searching programs recognize only MS Outlook. Also, Archivarius 3000 is much better than a build-in mail searcher by its speed (there is a mechanism of preliminary indexing of document contents) and by the obviousness of presentation of results (clue words are highlighted by yellow colours and there are not only titles of letters but also their fragments in the answer to the inquiry). It goes without saying that Viewer, build into Archivarius, manages very well with the examination of found messages.

One more noteworthy feature of Archivarius is the polylingual interface with full support of Unicode. This function allows making searches in multilingual documents correctly.

At the end I would like to say that Archivarius 3000 costs cheaper than its competitors. Moreover, if we take into account all above-mentioned abilities, one can note that the ratio price/cost of this program is one of the best among other programs of this kind.
