ClipCache Plus greatly enhances the functionality of the Windows Clipboard, and provides a handy keyboard macro utility.

ClipCache Plus is three utilites in one: a powerful Clipboard extender, a full-featured text editor, and a handy keyboard macro utility.

In the Clipboard extender, everything you cut or copy is stored for easy retrieval from an icon which sits quietly in the System Tray on your Taskbar. Any clip can be quickly selected for pasting from ClipCache Plus' window or by right-clicking on the Taskbar icon. You can even assign system-wide hotkeys to frequently used clips for easy pasting into any application. A handy 'FormPaste' command which pastes the selected clip into the most recently used application, and then TABs to the next field.

ClipCache Plus uses a three-pane Explorer-type interface for easy maintenance of your clips. You can view text and image clips and easily organize clips into groups using drag and drop. ClipCache Plus also lets you search for, edit and format the text inside clips. There are plug-ins which extract URLs and count words in the Clipboard contents, and trigger actions based on the contents of the Clipboard. You can also save individual text clips in TXT format and save image clips in BMP format.

The text editor has a variety of instant text cleanup capabilities, such as instant removal of those annoying '>>>>>' from e-mails that have been forwarded too many times, removing large gaps and extra whitespace copied from e-mails or Web pages made with tables, and removing linebreaks.

The keyboard macro utility easily stores pieces of text, ready to be pasted into any application simply by pressing an assigned hotkey.
