WinZip Password Recovery Key allows you to recover passwords for ZIP archives created with WinZip and PKZip.

The program has a fast recovery engine. More than one million passwords can be processed per second. Various password patterns can be used to minimize the search time if any part of the password is known.

You simply drag and drop files to the program window, and the password is recovered. You can also resume interrupted searches.

A brute-force approach is used to recover a password. All possible passwords of the specified length and for the specified types of characters are checked. This procedure is rather slow, so do not expect to recover passwords longer than eight characters.
