MiriServer is the successor of the common software “Miriam”. It’s a Freeware-project which makes it possible to telecontrol your PC in different ways, or automates operations. For example you could jump to the next title in Winamp with your remote control or you can change the Windows volume without leaving your seat! Maybe you want stylishly page up your Powerpoint presentations during meeting. There are no limits.

Here are some features of MiriServer: *Native support for different infrared-receivers like IrMan, Ir2Pc, Winlirc. You can easily build your own IR receiver or order some online. All information you need will be provided on the www.sixdots.de/miriserver pages. *Support for a circuit with 15 pushbuttons at the serial-port. *Integrated client for the (Win)lirc-Server. Winlirc user can easily use MiriServer directly without additional configuration. *Integrated TCP/IP (Telnet) server for controlling and communication across the local network. *You can allocate global HotKeys with MiriServer functions. Assign any function to a Windows keyboard shortcut.
