Amaroc is a software program using ncurses technology.
One of the benefits of using Amaroc is that it doesn't require you to have direct access to the machine on which Amarok is running. Instead, you can use shell access to connect to the machine via SSH. Once you've launched Amaroc, simply hit the 'h' key to pull up an intuitive set of instructions for getting started.
If you find Amaroc to be a useful tool, don't hesitate to reach out to the developer and let them know. To install and use it, you'll need to have both amaroK and ncurses installed on your system.
The latest release of Amaroc includes a number of important fixes and improvements. For example, the software now requires a terminal size of at least 70x9 in order to run properly. Additionally, a previous issue with artist and song names being clipped at 30 characters has been resolved. Finally, special characters like "&" have been fixed so that they're displayed correctly, and there's been some minor code cleanup completed as well.
