Version 6.0: Released on 10 Apr 2006 * IMAP accounts are now supported too. * SSL for IMAP is also supported. * It is now possible to create global rules which will be applied to all accounts. * The new SpamAssassin 3.1.0 is integrated which detects spam much more reliable and uses less RAM. * The spam filter does now also support to specify allowed character sets and languages. * The spam report in the header of mails when using the spam filter can now be set to a detailed mode. * An action was added which makes it easier to train the Bayes filter with not detected spam mails by forwarding them a special mail account. This action also allows to set up an honey - pot mail account. A workaround will reduce the amount of such mails that are declined by the Exchange server with an "Invalid Address" error. * Bugfix: In some situations the log viewer of V5.3.0 didn't show log entries any more after the application was running for a long time. * Some minor changes and improvements have been incorporated.

* You can now let your installed antivirus software scan incoming emails. Currently are supported: BitDefender, GData AtiVirenKit, Sophos AntiVirus, Kaspersky. More virus scanner will be supported in the next versions. * It is now possible to filter the log file view in the configuration application to show all log entries, only warnings and errors or errors only (choose between All, Warnings & Errors, Errors). The system service now logs all events in the log file. * For the spam filter SpamAssassin now a whitelist and a blacklist can be configured. * Improved spam detection rules * A scheduler now allows you to define the time when SmartPOP2Exchnage should download emails. This makes it possible to download emails e.g. only from Mon to Fri from 08:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. * SmartPOP2Exchange now downloads and scans up to 5 messages simultaneously in order to improve the overall download time for emails. Large parts of the system service have been rewritten to achieve this. * SmartPop2Exchange allows you to delete attachments from incoming messages using the rules engine. * Bugfix: The application now shows a German user interface under all German Windows version (including Austria and Switzerland), if the German language has been chosen at the start of the installation. * Some minor bug fixes and improvements.
