Autogg is a music player that sorts music regardless of its catalog structure. It supports Ogg files and offers an alternative way of categorizing music.
Autogg provides an easy-to-use player interface that is designed to suit even the most discerning users, such as Ted. To use the player, select a directory that includes .ogg files by clicking the scan button over the list to the right. You can also select the / directory to get all the .ogg files on your system. Once selected, click on the start scan button and wait for the directory tree to show up in the list. After the scan is complete, you can double-click on a track to add it to the playlist, and the track will be played while in queue.
To run Autogg, you require a Linux PC, and it probably works with other POSIX compliant systems as well, although they are yet to test this assertion. Additionally, Autogg also requires xmms, the most recent version of id3lib, libogg, libvorbis, libvorbisfile, and gtk+-2.6 or newer. These dependencies are not 100% complete yet, but they should contain the most important ones.
Autogg's latest version comes with exciting new features that deliver an improved user experience. These features include a delete option from the playlist, an icon, and session saving. Overall, Autogg is an excellent music player with incredible potential, and it is worth your time and investment.
