Copy and Restore is a software designed to retrieve information from instable or corrupted storage devices including CDs, DVDs, floppies, and LAN-drives.
What I liked the most was the software's ability to recover files that had not so important data in the damaged zone. For instance, I was still able to read e-books, listen to music and watch movies, albeit with brief disadvantages when the reading process reached the damaged block. In some cases, I was able to restore some files from damaged archives or even run executable files, provided the corrupted data did not reach the code section or important data. I found that to be a lifesaver, why lose out on a chance to recover your files?
Aside from recovering data from non-stable media, I was also able to recover data from network drives. I loved that I could resume downloads from my remote PC after experiencing a connection issue during the copy process. This feature saved me a lot of time, as I didn't have to download the entire large file from the beginning.
Overall, I'd recommend Copy and Restore to anyone looking for a reliable data recovery software that supports resumed downloads from remote PCs and recovers data from non-stable media.
