The Digg.com plugin for Konqueror is a plugin that adds an icon to the status bar to toggle a docked article.
One of the key features of this plugin is that it can automatically set both the URL and title fields for you. As you surf the web, the plugin will keep track of the current page you are on and automatically fill in these fields. Additionally, if you select text on a webpage, the plugin will fill the body of the submission window with that text. Furthermore, if you have the plugin configured to do so, it can even open new tabs for you when you submit your article.
Another great feature of the Digg.com plugin for Konqueror is that all of the current Digg topics are available within the plugin. Additionally, you have the ability to configure the list of selectable Digg categories, in case Digg.com adds more in the future.
Unfortunately, the plugin does have some limitations. Specifically, there is no internationalization, which may be a drawback for some users.
Overall, the Digg.com plugin for Konqueror is a very useful tool for anyone who frequently submits articles to Digg.com. With its easy-to-use interface and useful features, this plugin is sure to make your browsing experience more efficient.
In the latest release of the plugin, some minor bugs were fixed, including a bug that caused the body input of the submission window to disallow selecting text after website text had been selected, and a few typos were corrected. Additionally, the shortcut Alt+D was added as a quick way to submit articles, and the body input now begins with selected text when the window is created (but not toggled). Finally, a basic project page was set up to allow for easy issue tracking.
