Dirogg migrates your entire music collection from mp3 to Ogg Vorbis (ogg) with a simple script.
One of the best features of Dirogg is its recursing capabilities. Once you initiate the program at the top level of your music collection, it will work its way through each subdirectory of your library, ensuring that every last file is converted with ease. All you have to do is sit back and let Dirogg handle the rest.
Installation is equally straightforward. All you have to do is copy the Dirogg script to a directory in your path, such as /usr/local/bin. From there, all you need to do is enter the directory where you want to convert your mp3 files to ogg, and Dirogg will get to work. And don't worry - your original mp3 files will not be deleted unless you actively choose to set them to be removed.
With the latest version of Dirogg, you can already enjoy even faster conversions, thanks to new optimizing features. One of the biggest upgrades is parallelizing support, which allows you to process multiple files simultaneously. This can significantly reduce the time it takes to convert your entire library, making it an even more powerful tool for music enthusiasts.
