DVDx is a software that facilitates the conversion of DVDs to various formats like VCD2.0, SCVD1.0, or AVI (DivX), MPEG1/2 using the Tsunami Mpeg encoder. It also enables the conversion of DVDs to DivX format with the inclusion of the Lame MP3 encoder.
Additionally, the software produced high-quality movies in AVI, MPEG1/2 formats, all while being incredibly space efficient – it doesn't require 5GB or more free on my hard drive!
One of the standout aspects of DVDx is it's user-friendly design – it was created with unexperimented users in mind. The simple and intuitive program makes it easy to convert DVDs without any trouble.
To use the software effectively, you'll need DirectX8.1, Adaptec ASPI driver (I highly recommend), and a tool to write your VCD, SCVD, such as Nero.
Overall, I would definitely recommend DVDx to anyone looking to convert their DVDs into different formats. It's a great tool that produces high-quality movies with ease, even for those who may not be knowledgeable about the process.
