Software summary: The author wanted to go to Melleh but his Druse companions refused due to fear of Sheraka, a tribe of the Arabs Djelaes in the area.
Eventually, we decided to retrace our steps and cross the mountain from Zaele. We traversed the southeastern corner of the mountain, and while there were no trees, there were numerous spots of rich pasture. After traveling for two hours, we reached Ras el Beder, a spring named after the Moon's Head in Arabic. The spring's waters flow down to the plain until they reach Boszra.
From the spring, we descended and arrived at Zahouet el Khudher, a ruined city located in a Wady and a short distance from the spring. Despite the setback of not making it to Melleh, the journey was still rewarding with amazing sights and experiences.
