GFE is a software that automatically deletes unwanted files at Windows login. It will scan your system and remove files from known trash locations. Custom paths can also be added as required.
What stood out the most to me was GFE's ability to search my system for common garbage file locations. However, it also allowed me to add as many custom paths as I required, which was incredibly helpful.
Straight out of the box, GFE was able to locate and clean out a wide range of files. Some of these included IE temp folders, IE cookies, IT histories, program temp folders, empty recycle bins, recent document links, Flash player shared objects, backup files, lost file fragments, index.dat files, log files, temp files, old files, and crash dump files. Needless to say, I was impressed with how comprehensive the software was.
One thing to note is that GFE has been designed for use on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7. Additionally, GFE requires Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0 or greater to run. Overall, I would highly recommend GFE to anyone who is looking for a reliable software solution for keeping their system free of unwanted files.
