GoldExI software specializes in data acquisition for measuring superconducting and Josephson structures.
In addition to these features, GoldExI also offers auto-detection of installed hardware, flexible configuration of DAC/ADC channels, gain control, high-speed measurement functions, sweeping and programmable waveform capabilities, delay and timing control, and flexible averaging options. You can save files in plain ASCII dat-file format and load them back for analysis, and manipulate curves with math functions.
GoldExI comes with several useful popup tools, including Thermometer, Cursors, and Picture Info, and you can save and load configurations as needed. System requirements include M$ Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/NT5/2000 and almost any 12 or 16-bit National Instruments ADC/DAC card, with at least one DAC channel and one ADC channel in your system. SCXI devices are supported but not extensively tested.
The demo version of GoldExI is 100% functional and performs emulation of Josephson junction and resistor instead of accessing hardware. This version can be used as a demonstration of GoldExI's abilities and as a viewer for data acquired by others using the full version of GoldExI. The demo/office version is free to use without limitations, but you will need to purchase the full version to access hardware, receive free upgrades, and free technical support.
