HS GSM SMS is a C source library allowing PC-based applications to access a mobile phone's Short Message Service (SMS) function following ETSI standards, including GSM 07.05 and GSM 03.40.
One of the notable features of HS GSM SMS is the ability to interface with mobile phones over COM ports (COM1-COM8). This allows you to send SMS messages to the GSM network, receive incoming SMS indications from mobile phones, read received SMS messages from mobile phones, and even delete messages from the phone's memory. Additionally, the software can decode sender numbers and service center timestamps.
HS GSM SMS library supports PDU mode and 7-bit text encoding. It also supports a range of equipment, including Siemens C35i, Siemens S25, Siemens ME45, Nokia 6610, Siemens data modules, and Nokia GSM/GPRS modules.
While the software is currently supported on MS Windows-based platforms, its flexible architecture and full C source code make it easy to port to any platform. The Library is supplied as a Win32 static library with full source code and a demo application, and it was developed using C language with a flexible architecture.
Hillstone Software provides additional services for customizing, porting, and integrating the library code to better suit the needs of your products. Overall, HS GSM SMS is a versatile and powerful solution for SMS connectivity between PC applications and mobile phones.
