iPlay-Yan simplifies playing videos, audios, and photos on Play-Yan devices. Its user-friendly interface and efficient features offer a seamless media experience.
One of the best features of this application is its ability to present your iTunes music the same way you are used to. With just a few clicks, you can select and transfer your mp3's to your Play-Yan Ready SD Memory card. The application also converts other audio formats to mp3 on-the-fly, making it compatible with your Nintendo Portable.
The stored music is organized into labeled folders on your SD card, making it easy to locate and play back. You can also use the integrated search field to find just the music you want to listen to. For those who want more control, you can use the Preferences to set the quality and bitrate of your converted files.
iPlay-Yan also supports iPhoto pictures and albums. You can convert them into a slideshow movie in MPEG4 format, which is compatible with Play-Yan Advanced Video Format. Simply select a photo album, drag it to Play-Yan Ready SD Memory card, and the application creates a Slideshow movie for you. You can also use the search field to search for labeled photos.
The application can also convert videos from multiple formats, such as MPEG, Video for Windows, QuickTime, Windows Media, DVD Video Object, Digital Video, and High Definition Video. It supports both SD-MP4 and Play-Yan Advanced video formats and manages your video library. You can use the search field to find the video you want to play on your Play-Yan, and then drag and drop to transfer.
With iPlay-Yan, you can click on your mounted Play-Yan SD to manage your media files. It shows you how much space your Videos, Music, and slideshows are using. You can also delete unwanted files without going back to the Finder.
The application requires QuickTime 7 and an SD Card reader with Play-Yan firmware update. It is available in English and Japanese. There is a featured-limited demo for those who want to try the application before purchasing.
