This software is a command-line utility that currently allows the detection of changes made in the file system.
The software also takes into account the possibility of an entire directory being modified. In such cases, the list will only show the directory name. logGen comes with a built-in feature that automatically ignores some directories during the search, including your home directory, temporary directories, network mounts, and non-root volumes. This saves time and ensures that only relevant files are analyzed.
Unfortunately, logGen is not entirely perfect. In some instances, the software is not able to accurately detect changes in resource forks of files, which can result in an incomplete or inaccurate list. Despite this minor issue, logGen still remains a powerful and useful tool for detecting changes in files.
