OpStor is a storage monitoring tool that provides an all-in-one solution for inventory, fault, and performance management across multiple vendor products, including Storage Arrays, Fabric Switches, and HBAs. It also covers VMware and Host servers via a web-based client.
OpStor uses industry-standard interfaces such as SMI-S, CLI, SNMP, etc to monitor SAN devices. It queries devices for inventory information along with its sub-components and automatically constructs hierarchical device maps showing the interconnections between the devices with its color-coded status. OpStor periodically polls storage devices to determine its health status and generates alarms on status changes, including Fabric Switch and Port Status, Storage Array and Processor Status, Disk/Volume Status, Library, and Drive Status.
It also collects performance data on well-defined KPIs for storage devices & interconnects and depicts them as graphs for visual tracking. OpStor generates reports on device utilization, availability, Disk/Volume Utilization Trends, etc. Top-N reports are provided for comparing relative performance of devices.
OpStor integrates easily with device's element managers by launching them from the OpStor browser client securely. It has rich web-based UI that is easy to install & use. Additionally, it can integrate with other NMS systems. Priced attractively from entry level to large enterprises, OpStor is designed with focus on storage administrators' day-to-day monitoring needs.
