Podsyncr syncs Flickr photos and sets to your iPod, enabling effortless access to your preferred digital memories on the go.
It's important to note, however, that Podsyncr currently only works with the 2nd generation iPod Nano. For those with other models, you can send the developers a small sample Photo Database, and they will add support for it.
Using Podsyncr is a breeze. Simply start the podsyncr.jar file, authenticate yourself to Flickr by clicking on the auth button and following the instructions. Then, click on sync and wait for the software to do its job. Once completed, copy the "~/.podsyncr/Photo Database" to the Photos directory on your iPod and the "~/.podsyncr/F*.ithmb" files to the Photos/Thumbs directory.
It's worth noting that Podsyncr is licensed under the GPL version 2 and includes software developed by Aetrion LLC (flickrj). As a result, you can trust that you're using a reliable and secure software. Overall, if you're looking for a simple and efficient way to sync your Flickr photos with your iPod, Podsyncr is definitely worth a try.
