If you use Microsoft Entourage X for email, you may have noticed that its Reply feature lets you specify whether the quoted message should be inserted above or below your response. However, you may occasionally wish to switch to the opposite setting, or simply want a quicker way to toggle between them. That's where Reply Insertion Reversed X comes in.

This Entourage script adds a new option to your Reply menu that forces the opposite insertion style, regardless of your original preference. By default, the script uses keyboard shortcuts for this purpose: pressing Control-Shift-Option-R inserts the quoted text below your reply, while Control-Shift-Option-T puts it above. You can customize these shortcuts by editing a preference file.

To install Reply Insertion Reversed X, you need to have Microsoft Entourage X installed on your Mac. There are no other dependencies or requirements. Once you download the ZIP archive from the developer's website, you simply need to extract the script file and put it in the appropriate folder in your Entourage Scripts menu. You can then use the script as needed, and remove or update it later if you want.
