Simple Canvas

I recently had the opportunity to try out Simple Canvas, an iMovie plug-in that has been designed to make annotations on a layer above a movie a lot easier. With this plug-in, you can create a virtual transparent canvas over a clip and use it to add all sorts of annotations, making it the perfect tool to enhance and edit clips in any way you see fit.

What I particularly liked about Simple Canvas is that it allowed me to annotate, doodle, and create personal greeting cards without much effort. The plug-in is straightforward and easy to use, making it perfect for anyone who loves working with videos and wants to add a personal touch to their work.

However, it's important to note that Simple Canvas has limitations compared to the more powerful movie canvas plug-in. With this plug-in, you are limited to one canvas, and it's applied to all frames. So, if you're looking for a more sophisticated tool, Simple Canvas may not be the right choice for you.

In terms of features, Simple Canvas comes with annotation, doodling, and greeting card creation functionality, among others. And, in a recent release, the developers have fixed the 16-bit color interface bug, which had been plaguing the plug-in for a while.

However, before you decide to purchase Simple Canvas, it's crucial to download and test it thoroughly. Some users have reported compatibility issues with new system updates, which may cause problems with the plug-in. Hence, make sure to test it first before committing to a purchase.
